OBIEE Developer/Administrator

Job Description:
TTW Solutions is looking for multiple OBIEE Developer/Administrator to join our team in supporting a long-term, large enterprise-scale federal government project. The candidate is responsible for building a new enterprise BI application as part of the DW/BI team using Oracle's OBIEE and/or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). The candidate must have prior hands-on experience using OBIEE and/or ODI.

Specific Duties Include:
The candidate shall work with users to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions for implementation in the Data Warehouse/Data Mart using a combination of Oracle Technologies that include: Oracle's OBIEE, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle GoldenGate, and PL/SQL. The candidate must have current or prior hands-on experience working on a similar project using OBIEE and/or ODI. The candidate is expected to work in the development and test environment as well as to support production issues by replicating user reported problems, conducting root cause analysis and implementing fixes for system defects.
  • Develop the enterprise BI application with the team using one or more of Oracle Technologies that include: Oracle's OBIEE, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle GoldenGate, and PL/SQL.
  • For the OBIEE skillset, we are looking for more of an OBIEE Administrator who can pull back the layers of the tool and help guide the team with the integration into the existing application.
  • Participate in scope definition for code/maintenance releases, decompose user needs into technical requirements, contribute to defining of life-cycle milestones, and interact with internal teams such as Configuration Management, System Testing, and Operations.
  • Provide solutions and best practices while building the BI application for questions or concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, document, and correct defects or suggested improvements to the Data Warehouse/Data Mart.
  • Review, update, and maintain documentation on the existing Data Warehouse/Data Mart capabilities. This includes design documents, as well as, logical and physical diagrams.

System Administrator (SuSE Linux)

Senior Oracle DBA

TTW Solutions is looking for a Senior Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) to join our team on one of our projects supporting the DOD. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, performing daily checks, and troubleshooting of the production, testing, and development database environments, performing database backups and recovery as required, capacity planning and performance tuning as it pertains to the Oracle Database environment to support the 24x7 OLTP and the data warehousing environment. In addition, the candidate will be resolving problems from the production and development environments and interacting with Testing and Development Divisions to resolve problems and identify system enhancements. The selected individual must be willing to provide on-call support for 24x7 operations, including weekend and late-night maintenance duties, rotated throughout the team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of configuring, upgrading, and tuning Oracle 11g and 12c Database running on Solaris and Linux. The candidate should be familiar with setting up and administering Oracle Standby Database for DR (Disaster Recovery). The candidate should have hands-on experience with Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) backup and recovery scripting and operations, have solid SQL tuning and PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting experience, and be familiar with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Experience supporting Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Data Integrator, OBIEE, or all of the above, as an Oracle DBA in a prior data warehousing project is a major plus.
